
Remembrance Day Pitt Meadows
The Legion will return to the cenotaph in šxʷhék̓ ʷnəs (Spirit Square) on Monday, November 11 for a Remembrance Day ceremony.
Veterans and officials will march through šxʷhék̓ ʷnəs (Spirit Square) starting at 10:45am, ending at the cenotaph.
If you’d like to lay a wreath on Remembrance Day, please bring it to the cenotaph by 10:00am and make sure it’s picked up before dusk.
Please note: There is no seating available during the ceremony, reserved chairs are for veterans and those requiring accessible seating only.
Poppies will be available to purchase by donation from Pitt Meadows City Hall starting October 28. Poppies are worn as a tribute to our veterans with all money raised from their sale to help local veterans and their families.
